Scaling Up Summit Sydney Competition Terms and Conditions

Participation in this Competition is subject to the following terms and conditions and includes all information on how to enter and prizes available. By submitting an entry into the Competition, you are indication to us that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Only entries that comply with these terms and conditions will be considered valid and eligible to win.

The Promotor is Scaling Up Global Pty Limited ABN 61 627 975 759, Suite 2, Level 5/6 O’Connell St, Sydney NSW 2000. The competition commences on the 15/01/2024 and ends at midnight on 21/01/2024 (“Competition Period”).

You are eligible to enter into the Competition if you are ordinarily a resident in Australia and over the age of 18 (“Entrants”). To enter, Entrants must during the Competition Period, under our announcement post, comment an image depicting how your organisation is Scaling Up (It can be an image of a team meeting, your growing workplace, where you’re reading the Scaling Up book, or anything else Scaling Up / growth related) or comment their company’s big goal for 2024.

There is no limit of entries per Entrant. There is a total of three (3) Silver Passes available to be won. Each valued at $879 inclusive of GST. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible to cash or credit. 

The three (3) winners will be announced on Anna Samios’s LinkedIn account on 22nd January at 5pm.

Each Entrant’s name will be entered into a random name generator. The three (3) names the generator selects, will be the winners of the Competition.

The winners will be notified via a private message from Anna Samios’s LinkedIn Account and sent any additional details via the email address provided by them. The results will be published on Anna Samios’s LinkedIn account. Anna Samios will create a new post announcing the three (3) winners. All information provided by Entrant must be complete and accurate.

The Promotor is not responsible for any inaccurate information provided by the Entrant, any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or Entrant’s failure to adequately monitor any inbox account. Should any prize remain unclaimed within three (3) business days after being notified an additional winner(s) will be selected using the same procedures outlined above until the prizes are all claim. 

The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant from the Competition if it finds or believes the Entrant to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or; to be acting in violation of the applicable, terms and conditions, laws and regulations or in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
The Promoter reserves the right to seek damages and legally pursue to the full extent of the law any Entrant who deliberately or negligently damages, discredits, defames any website or social platform or undermine the legitimate operation of the Competition.
By entering, the Entrant consents to the Promotor’s use, should you become a winner, of your name, entry and photograph or other likeness, and your testimony without further compensation or notice, for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any media or format (including the Internet) in connection with the products, this Competition, or future similar Competitions for term of three (3) year. Entrants warrant that their entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights. 

By participating or attempting to participate in the Competition, all Entrants release the Promoters, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives from any damage, claim, dispute, cause of action that could be incurred due to their participation or attempted participation in the Competition.

All Entrants agree to indemnify the Promotor of any loss, damage, claim, dispute, cause of action resulting from their entry or from them participating in this Competition including arising from any comments made, or material published, by third parties about the entry on social media platforms in connection with this Competition.
